| Joan of Arc:The Messenger This is Luc Besson's epic telling of the famous french herione's life.
To be honest it is not the best told story although it does have engaging moments, but if you want to see some impressive sets, battles, and of course castles, it's well worth a look. The price is good for a nice slice of historical eye cake.

| Braveheart This film won 5 oscars including Best Director and Best Picture.
Mel Gibson stars as William Wallace, the scottish hero that united the clans against the
dominating English. This is far from historically accurate but then why should fact get in the way
of good story telling. Big battles, castles and a damn good viewing.
|
| Robin Hood:Prince of Thieves This film was the hit of 1991 and plays as a fun romp in the tradition of the Robin Hood legend.
Kevin Costner stars as the man himself but Alan Rickman easily steals the show with his humourous Sheriff of
Nottingham. There is an excellent battle in the forest and of course, castles.

| Dragonheart A light hearted tale of a freelance knight and the last living dragon. It is a good story that is simply fun
and includes an excellent CG dragon with the voice of Sean Connery. As with all films suggested on this site, it contains castles and at the time of writing this brief review, the price is such
that a purchase will not let those wallet moths go hungry.
